I gotta map more!

As usual on my way to work I start thinking about what I'm going to post on the blog.  I need to map more!  I think tonight is going to be one of those sit at home and relax kind of evenings, and coincidentally I have a pile of graph paper printed! I'd love to say that I could finish a map a week and post it up as "free map friday", or something like that.  But I don't want to come out and say "yes I'll do that".  As you know I tend to get great ideas, and then procrastination sets in.  That said I think I'll sit down tonight and come up with something.

If i was to do a free map friday, or maybe a free adventure friday, I think I would have to have a few in the can, already done.

I quite like the thief skill mechanics, which made me think about Magic users and how they learn spells.  The mechanic above is based on rolling over a number with 2d6, and of course as time goes on your get better at it.  A similar table for learning spells might be interesting.
